The 36005 Series V-Max® heavy-duty valve is an automated throttling control ball valve with patented dual characterized segmented ball design. The V-Max features a low-friction ball valve design, which includes a low torque seal and splined shaft for precise throttling control. Characterized by a V-shape, the ball valve provides some of the highest capacities and rangeabilities versus similar class products available in the market today.

Selection Criteria

The 36005 V-Max is the best choice for applications requiring higher capacities and turn-down ratios than the 35002 Camflex valve. It is also suited for viscous or fibrous fluids where the shearing action of the V-Port provides consistent tight shut-off.

Key features of the 36005 V-Max include a dual characterized V-Port ball providing a class leading 500:1 turndown ratio with superior capacity (Cv rating). A rugged triple guiding system maintains tight trim alignment for consistent shut-off performance. It is available with standard MN-7 soft seat, flexible metal or optional heavy duty seat designs. In addition, standard EF seal low emission packing system prevents fugitive emissions. Plus, splined shaft construction prevents backlash at the ball-to-shaft connection while allowing self-aligning trim, and directly-connected positioners eliminate lost motion. They also provide true valve position feedback.
