The Dresser Masoneilan 500 Series regulator can be used for pressure reduction, back pressure control and differential pressure applications for a wide range of process fluids. The 500 Series is available in several different configurations to meet various capacity, pressure, temperature, and seat leakage requirements. The designs are based on standard Dresser Masoneilan globe valve platforms and are packaged together with the 10900 Series Actuators to provide precise regulation and control.

Selection Criteria

The Dresser Masoneilan 500 Series regulators provide a high capacity solution for pressure reduction, back pressure and differential pressure applications in steam, gas and liquid applications. They are available in either single-seated or double-seated configurations to meet various capacity and seat tightness requirements. The 500 Series is also available in pressure ratings up to ANSI Class 600.

Key Features

Key features of the Dresser Masoneilan 500 Series regulators include both unbalanced and balanced trim constructions, heavy plug guiding, large streamlined flow paths and easy access to trim components. Dresser Masoneilan Models 525 & 526 are high capacity globe body designs based on the 10000 Series with double-seated trim as well as top and bottom guiding and balanced trim construction. The Model 535H is based on the standard 21000 Series with single-seated unbalanced trim, heavy top-guiding and a streamlined body for high capacity. These are extremely rugged designs offered in a wide range of pressure ranges, temperature and seat tightness specifications to cover various pressure regulating applications.
