The 71000 Series is designed for severely erosive applications. Consequently, this series utilizes specialty materials to provide high hardness on critical surface. Trim components are available in a wide variety of rugged materials including stellite, tungsten carbide and ceramics.

Key Features

In order to avoid potential erosion of the valve body, the internal flow stream is strategically contoured to minimize direct impingent of entrained particulates directly on the valve body walls or trim components. The streamlined angle body of the 71000 Series provides the highest level of resistance to this type of erosion damage. Hardened trim materials are used for the valve plug and seat providing erosion resistance for key valve components.
