The Dresser Masoneilan 72000 Series valve platform is designed for high capacity and high pressure letdown gas applications. The flexibility of a fabricated valve body allows for custom-engineered solutions, including large differences between the inlet and outlet sizes to handle downstream gas expansion and noise attenuation. Noise and vibration control is achieved through the use of Dresser Masoneilan V-LOG Energy Management Trim or Lo-DB Trim.

The 72000 Series control valve is designed to accept a wide variety of custom engineered trim solutions. Solutions are available with Dresser Masoneilan’s Lo-DB low noise trim and V-LOG Energy Management Trim as well as standard ported cages. Unique designs with various trim combinations allow for customer solutions for each severe service application.

The 72000 Series control valve is designed as a fabricated angle body valve with a large flow gallery to accomodate high capacity trim designs. The design also allows for longer valve strokes to further enhance high capacity capabilities. This is an extremely flexible platform for implementing optimal solutions for noise attenuation and multi-stage high pressure letdown including standard Masoneilan Lo-dB and VLOG Energy Management trim technologies. The 72000 Series body designs also provide the flexibility of incorporating expanded outlets that can be drastically different in size compared to the valve inlets.
