The Dresser Masoneilan Conventional Butterfly valves include resilient seat and high capacity functionality. Available in both lined and unlined configurations, they meet various general process control applications. The standard butterfly valve design offered by Dresser Masoneilan is the 37002 Series MiniTork II, which is supplied with the Dresser Masoneilan Model 33 spring-diaphragm actuator.

Selection Criteria

The Dresser Masoneilan conventional butterfly valves combine the tight shut-off characteristics of an elastomeric lined valve with moderate throttling control accuracy. These are best suited for applications controlling high volume, low pressure fluids or requiring tight shut-off. An unlined version is available where tight shut-off is not required.

Dresser Masoneilan conventional butterfly valves feature a concentric, low-torque reversed cupped vane to provide more consistent and lower operating torque requirements. The reinforced liner is available in various elastomeric materials to suite the process fluid and is field replaceable for long valve life. Unlined valves are used where shut-off is not required and provide accurate throttling control over their full operating range.
