The SVI® II AP digital valve positioner delivers reliable control valve operations with simple setup and commissioning. Offering one-model-fits-all configuratbility for both rotary and reciprocating applications, it is an ideal fit for scalable hardware/firmware platforms. The SVI II AP positioner provides dependable predictive and preventive maintenance. It is uniquely equipped with a non-contact travel sensor that supports accurate positioning and maintenance-free operations. The pneumatic train of the SVI II AP is a dual-stage aimplification system with stainless steel wetted parts for durability. Additionally, the SVI II AP positioner meets IEC 61508 SIL 2 (international standard for safety-related systems) requirements. Plus, “Intrinsically Safe, Flame-proof and Explosion-proof” designs are offered as standard. Some of the SVI II AP options include marine grade construction, local indicating LCD with push buttons for local calibration, position transmitter, discrete outputs, double-acting and a remote mount position-sensing mechanism. Using Hart eDDL and FDT-DTM technologies, the Dresser Masoneilan SVI II AP positioner provides interoperability with leading control systems suppliers.
